And I was also interested in a topic like football, which I dealt with every day anyway. I then compared the various betting providers and decided on Tipico. They have an extensive betting assortment, many live bets and, most importantly, mostly very good odds.
Another advantage of Tipico is that you can bet with this provider both on the PC, on the smartphone or in the betting office. So you are not bound to a medium, but can choose from the full program. I preferred to place my bets via the smartphone. The Tipico app could not simply be installed via the app store, but I was able to download it easily via the mobile website. The advantage of an app is that you can place live bets here at any time. Nevertheless, I also placed some bets on my laptop. Here I could call up some statistics about the sports event faster, which I couldn’t see at Tipico.
Statistics are important when preparing a bet, but much more important is the right strategy. There are countless numbers of them, but the one that always succeeds is simply impossible to find because it is still a game of chance. In the beginning, I used the live strategy. As the name suggests, I tried to see a lot of games live and to give the right single tip about my feeling how the game works. However, this strategy was very time consuming and not compatible with the profession and leisure time. So I turned to the next strategy. This strategy was based on simple favorite victories, which of course brought rather low odds. But even the lowest odds multiply to a quite high overall odds and so the betting slips became longer and longer. Mostly I bet on 10 – 15 such favorite victories in a combination bet.
After this strategy had also fulfilled its purpose at some point, I tried the draw strategy. It is based on the fact that statistically at least every third game ends in a tie. However, since the odds for a draw are usually above 3.0, betting on this outcome should pay off in time. I paid attention to which teams in which league played most often draws. After these were found, I bet on every game of these teams on a draw. However, this strategy brought only slowly higher amounts and so the change followed on smaller combination bets. Most of the time I decided to play a combination of up to 10 games with a odds around 2.0, only to reduce it to 4 games. Fewer games, less chances to be wrong was the motto. At the same time, I ran a second strategy. One game, a low odds, a lot of stakes. The win of the previous bet was then used again in the same scheme. So the stake and thus also the profit automatically became higher and higher, and that with a small probability to lose the bet.
The bet I made per bet varied per strategy, of course. If it was automatically higher and higher in the last bet, I bet several hundred Euros on a favourite win shortly before the payout. Also the stake for the live bets was higher compared to the others and was about 20-30 Euro. With all other strategies my stake was between 5 and 10 Euro, but in other sports than football it was generally a bit lower than usual. In the long run, I was paid the highest winnings for the latter strategy. However, a lot of money can also be lost most quickly here, because even the lowest odds do not necessarily have to be fulfilled. In the short term, I made the highest profits with the live bets. No matter if deposit or payout, here I was always satisfied with Tipico. They were quick and uncomplicated. At the beginning I made the deposits with my credit card, while I made the withdrawals with an instant transfer to my bank account. After I discovered the Paypal payment system for myself, I used it for deposits and withdrawals at Tipico.
Of course, every payout makes the heart of a sports weather beat faster, but for me the bets themselves were also a real emotional cinema. Already when it came to the choice of bets, my pulse went up a bit. Will he win or will the other one? Will he score a goal or will none fall? Questions which one would like to have answered already before the delivery. The delivery itself let the pulse rise then again properly. However, this was highest during the live bets, since I had here the happening before me and, e.g. with the football, with each attack, foul or on whatever I bet, was very tense. In the case of success this tension dissolved each time into a pleasant feeling of happiness, I do not want to talk about the case of failure at all. I didn’t experience the other forms of betting quite as intensively, as these were usually run on the side while I was living out my free time or working out. Nevertheless, there were some emotions in the game, depending on success and commitment. The more I used, the higher were the emotions released, regardless of the betting strategy.
I will remain true to betting, especially those emotions. Of course, money also plays a role, especially when I win. Depending on the budget I can bet more or less. But the appeal is never lost.
