Sports betting wasn’t really a part of my life until I was 25 years old. I didn’t worry about it, only I wondered if it was all so legal. Since it is well known that trying is about studying and a buddy kept trying at bwin, I also became curious. In the beginning, I only bet on one game for testing – a game of my favourite club from the second Bundesliga football league. As with many people, this worked right away. My desire to bet was awakened. Nevertheless I left it with my favourite club in the beginning, sometimes it went well, sometimes not. My first 10 Euro were quickly doubled, because it did not remain with the use of one Euro. I had so to speak really luck with the gambling.

After a few weeks, however, this streak eased. It just didn’t want my team to end the game the way I bet it would. In order not to lose everything, I then also bet on supposedly safe bets from the first football Bundesliga. But also there I was probably too overconfident. In the end there was still one euro and a few cents left. I let the betting out of my sight, deleted the app again.

A few months later, it came back to my mind. I needed a little more money in the account, so why not try betting again. Again I paid ten Euro directly via PayPal to be able to bet larger sums than one Euro. And it ran and ran and ran. Within two weeks, the ten euros turned into just over eighty euros, only through small secure football bets with a low odds. My mood was at the top. But as it always is, the low came after the high, I wanted too much. So I bet more and more and lost my almost ninety Euro and a few days again. I was tired of betting and bwin.

Over a year later I started again to the last football world championship, same game, ten euro bet, safe bets, some also with risk. The ten Euros were gone faster than the World Cup ended. Shortly after I was introduced by acquaintances to another world of betting, horse betting. Directly on the race track I got into betting fever again. The odds of the local journalists stood on screens, the horses could be seen in the leading ring. Seemed to be safe. German Tote was my betting office this time. I tried to win or place bet, at first very sure again. Five Euros turned into forty Euros, until I wanted too much again at the last race and bet almost everything on the wrong horse, which was favoured by everyone. The emotions drove roller coaster in me. From one hour to the next I came from bright joy and excitement into the fire. After the horse race I left it at that, as I had already tried out the horse betting section at bwin. These aren’t real races, though, but computer animations. No, I didn’t want that.

I’ve been back for two months, without paying in, because I still had two or three euros on my bwin account. First there were winter sports bets. They get through well, because I really know my way around this area. Since newest I play only combination bets. At the moment this is going from slow to good. I do not have to register any losses yet. Usually I bet on football matches in Europe, in each case with a quota between 1.10 and 1.50. Thus one comes with a euro employment and around the 5 bet games to a possible profit of over 4 euro. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Plus minus zero will probably be the result.

My bets will probably never go over five euros, because meanwhile I know that it is really only gambling, as long as you do it only for leisure reasons, without a certain strategy, like me. It remains with a few few Euros that sometimes come to the idea of making the big money with it, I have gone away. The risk is too high for me. Furthermore, I will be more interested in horse betting directly on the course, gather a little more experience and leave a little money with German Tote. I’ve never gambled from my PC before, it will stay that way. Either the app or the direct contact to the betting office on the course are my favorite and most comfortable.
