Lotto is a game of chance. I return my ticket, pay my weekly sum of 3 euros (1.50 euros for the lottery on Wednesday and 1.50 euros for the lottery on Saturday) and wait for the draw. In the past, they were followed with excitement, of course, but nowadays they’re only taken on the sidelines, maybe even the next day out of the newspaper. There’s no TV show of its own where the lottery numbers are drawn before the news. As already indicated there are numerous options with the Lotto, which one can mark likewise. They all cost money. I have tried everything, nowadays I concentrate on the normal numbers. Possible would be Eurojackpot, game 77 or Super 6 or Keno.

Memories of my Lotto winnings

Yeah, I won the lottery once in all those years. There are three right numbers, occasionally four right numbers, and of course the extra number can have a positive effect. Unfortunately, I never managed to win as much as a jackpot promises. I haven’t had the chance to win six right cards yet, but I’m not giving up hope. I know, of course, that this is exactly the ulterior motive of Lotto. I also know that there are games of chance that are much more promising. The odds are also better, but it’s always the case that if you’re really lucky with the lottery, you can win more than €1 million. And everyone dreams of that. I wouldn’t call the lottery a thrill these days. For me it’s a routine, something I don’t want to give up. What I pay in a week I can easily afford. Whether I got paid out all the small and somewhat larger winnings at such a rate that I always made a plus at the end of the year, I doubt that a little bit. But I don’t think about it and I don’t calculate.

How to play lotto these days

Nowadays there is a lot going on in the internet, also with me personally and in my family. Lotto, on the other hand, can theoretically be played online, but I have to go to the shop and deliver the ticket personally. That’s part of my routine, I think until a few years ago it wasn’t even allowed to play lotto on the Internet, but nowadays you can find some websites on this subject. For me it would be out of the question to give my ticket on the internet via my laptop, or even mobile with a smartphone or a Tablet PC. That wouldn’t fit the routine I mentioned. Well, as an option if you can’t go to the store, for whatever reason, such an offer isn’t so bad. But I think that you have to register with the different websites first and I don’t like that very much. Once I tried it, I don’t know the name of the website anymore. You just indicate your payment as usual and the amount of the desired stake, this process is not really different.

Do I have a special strategy as I play lotto? No. Winnings can’t be forced anyway and as I said before, I have my special numbers that I don’t want to change. I don’t experiment and I don’t think about strategies. I pay my notes in cash and I don’t experience the drawing of the numbers in a very emotional way.

Actually, my own experiences with lotto are such that I could gladly do without this game. But for the reasons I mentioned, I won’t do it. That’s what Lotto wants. I’d hope for more winnings, but as with playing, they can’t be forced. Nowadays nobody has to give his ticket to the shop anymore, I just told about my personal preference. There are so many lottery sites on the Internet that there is a really good selection now. Even if I don’t necessarily want to use them, I still recommend to try it. Who knows, maybe the big lottery win will take place directly.
