First steps with French Roulette:
Since I’m not a regular player, I was a bit cautious when I first started and first looked at which roulette tables there are at all at the casino. Besides the more popular French Roulette, I also found an American Roulette and a variant called Magic Roulette. Because I had never let the ball spin before, I first decided on the classic French Roulette. I would have thought I’d get a message telling me that I had to top up my credit or something before I could play, because I hadn’t done that before. Instead, I was redirected directly to the roulette table and was automatically in play money mode, which I liked very much.
The table at Sunny Player Casino has a simple 3D look and looks very chic. The structure of the game went very fast and smoothly, despite my somewhat outdated laptop. A friendly computer voice already asked me to make my game. In play money mode you automatically start with 1000 Euro, which you can put on the usual fields. By clicking on any of the squares, a bet is placed. I noticed that the bet varies depending on which field you choose. For example, if I click on a normal number field, 50 cents will be bet. If, on the other hand, I choose one of the combo variations such as Finale, for example betting on all numbers with an 8 at the end, there are more chips on the table, but each chip only has a value of 10 cents. The bet can be easily increased by clicking several times on the bet. It’s a bit hard to see how much you bet because the numbers and buttons are very small, but with a little feeling and a pinched eye it worked.
After a click on the “Start” button, the ball spins and the game takes its course. In the beginning I often lost because I only bet on a few numbers or small combos. But my bets were lower. When I started betting on the thirds, the game got going. At the end of my initial period, I had compensated all my losses so far with a stake of 10 Euro on the lower third and even got out of the play money phase with 14 Euro Plus.
A little risk with Magic Roulette
So that I could play for real money, I loaded up 50 Euro at Sunny Player Casino. Although there were also payment options such as bank transfer or credit card, I felt safer buying a Paysafe card and using it to top up my balance. Then I was again faced with the choice of which roulette to play and decided this time for the variant Magic Roulette. This variant differs from normal roulette in that you can only bet on numbers from 0 to 12. When you start the game and the ball lands on the right number, an additional spin starts, where the win can be multiplied by a random factor. You then have the chance to increase your winnings again by playing one of two risky games. The first game is very simple: you see a stack of normal playing cards and have to guess whether the next card up is red or black. In the second game the stakes always vary between two values from 0 to a maximum of 100 Euros and you only have to press the stop button at the right time. The game runs until you stop or until you reach 0, which is why I preferred to play the card game as a risk game.
When playing for real money, I first started again with single bets and then only bet between 1 and 3 Euro. Unfortunately, I didn’t win this way, which is why I once bet on all 12 numbers with only 50 cents each. With a probability of 12:1, I could hardly lose, and accordingly, I already caught a correct number during the spin. With the bonus factor, I caught the 100, which turned 50 cents into 50 euros. At the risk game, I was lucky again and got the right card once, which added 24 Euro to the 50 Euro. So I had won 74 Euro with one turn. That’s why I repeated this once again, but on the next spin I had only won by a factor of 12 and lost the risk game. So I had won just as much as I had invested. The next three or four turns were no different. That’s why I also have the feeling that in Magic Roulette the probability of reaching a certain bonus factor – 12 or 9 – is much higher than catching the 100 or the 1000. Still, I had my fun and got out of my first real money experience with a big plus. Since then I’ve been playing Magic Roulette one or two rounds at a time – sometimes for play money and sometimes for real money. There wasn’t the big super prize, but it was enough that I didn’t have to top up my account to play again.
